The Baeksang Winners: BEST FILM

The Baeksang Arts Award for Best Film (백상예술대상 영화부문 작품상) is an award presented annually at the Baeksang Arts Awards




The slow-burn murder mystery set in 1645 Joseon tells the story of an acupuncturist who battles a king for the truth.



This action thriller was based on true events and was the biggest domestic blockbuster when cinemas resumed operating in 2022.



The comedy-drama with a feminist edge topped the Korean box office for a week after its release and was invited to the 20th New York Asian film festival.




What is there left to say about the cinematic phenomenon that is Parasite?

The tragic class comedy won four Academy Awards while also winning big at the BAFTAs, the Golden Globes, and in Cannes.


At home in Korea, it won the 56th Daesang (Grand Prize) for Bong Joon-ho.




Hwang Jung-min stars as a South Korean spy who infiltrates the North, and somehow stumbles into a huge secret that has frightening

implications for both countries.



The historical film starred film veterans Lee Byung-hun and Kim Yeon-seok.



A critical darling from Na Hong-jin's repertoire, this has been called one of South Korea's best horror films in the past decade.
