The Baeksang Winners: BEST DRAMA

The Baeksang Arts Award for Best Drama (백상예술대상 TV부문 드라마 작품상) is probably one of the most anticipated awards of the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony, second only to the Grand Prize (Daesang).

Historically, the winners have been mixed and haven't been easy to predict. Sometimes, an extremely popular drama could win it all, while at other times, a niche series or a critical darling could pull a major upset and win over more expensive productions.

The first BEST DRAMA winner was a show called Chief Inspector from MBC back in 1975. Check this year's list here.
