She earned a Baeksang nomination and won the APAN Star Awards Best New Actress award in her first television series Rain or Shine (2017). In the k-drama (also known as Just Between Lovers), she played an aggrieved sister opposite 2PM’s Lee Jun-ho.
She has continued to take on various roles in TV: a pediatrician in the medical drama Life (2018), a cryogenic guinea pig alongside Ji Chang-wook in Melting Me Softly (2019), a cosmetics marketing senior to Rowoon’s character in She Would Never Know (2021), and a mother whose baby is going to hell in the Netflix dark fantasy Hellbound (2021) opposite Yoo Ah-in.
To her ever-growing list of projects, she added a movie with an all-star cast and a TV sitcom. In 2021’s rom-com film A Year-End Medley, she portrayed a hotel room maid dreaming of becoming a musical actress. Last year, she played a smart start-up employee reporting to Shin ha-kyun's character in the sitcom Unicorn.
She stars alongside Do Kyung-soo (EXO’s D.O.) in the fantasy romance movie Secret: Untold Melody. This remake of the 2007 Taiwanese film Secret is currently in post-production.
