Born on February 12, 1990, in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea, Park Bo-young always had an affinity for acting. Doom at Your Service (2021)
In this fantasy series, Park plays Tak Dong-kyung, who, after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, wishes for her world to end. Her wish summons Myul Mang, a messenger between humans and gods, played by Seo In-guk. What ensues is a complex and emotional story that explores themes of life, death, and the human will.
Park takes on a more somber and contemplative persona in this series, and her Dong-kyung is introspective, complicated, and, at times, weighed down by the cruel hand fate has dealt her.
Daily Dose of Sunshine (2023)
Park Bo-young returns to the small screen in Netflix's new healing drama, "Daily Dose of Sunshine." Here, she plays Jang Da-eun, a nurse who's been transferred to a psychiatric ward. The series will depict the peculiar lives and struggles of her patients in the ward.
