Not many actresses are lucky enough to work with Bong Joon-ho, the famed director of Parasite. But Go Ah-sung is luckier than most. Recommended by Bae Doona herself, Go debuted as a child actress in Bong's 2006 creature feature The Host, and then again in his 2013 dystopian film Snowpiercer.

She then continued to work with illustrious names such as Kim Hee-ae in Thread of Lies and even starred in Office, which premiered in the Midnight Screenings section of Cannes. In her last film, Samjin Company English Class, she starred as an office worker who discovers that her company is polluting local waters. It went on to win Best Film at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Go has also done quite well for herself in k-drama, starring in the 2015 black comedy Heard It through the Grapevine, the 2017 rom-com Radiant Office, and then in the South Korean adaptation of the BBC series Life on Mars. After five years, she returned to the small screen with the Wavve drama Tracer with Im Si-wan.
A hard-working actress, photographer, and singer, Go has accomplished an enviable body of artistic work in only a short time. We hope to see more of her massive talent back on our screens soon.
