Lim Cheol, more commonly known as DINDIN, may not appear on recent dramas—having participated in only two dramas to date, Queen of Mystery 2 (2018) and Hong Ik Super (2017)—but he is definitely not new to the small screen! In fact, viewers may find his voice oddly familiar as he appears on many k-dramas’ OSTs with the most notable being One Dollar Lawyer (2022), Dali and the Cocky Prince (2021), Mr. Queen (2021), My Strange Hero (2018), and The Good Manager (2017).

This would be unsurprising to people since DINDIN started his career as the “Super Rookie of the Hip Hop World” in the hit rap survival show Show Me the Money 2 (2013). While he may not have won the title, the show launched him into the world of variety programs. He was soon taking part in hit shows such as Real Men S2 (2015-2016), I Can See Your Voice (2016), Tribe of Hip Hop (2016), Fantastic Duo S2 (2017), and many more.

Newer fans of k-variety shows may know DINDIN as the clumsily sly loudmouth on the infamous k-variety show, 2 Days and 1 Night (Season 4, 2019 – present). Arguably one of his most memorable castings, DINDIN infuses 2D1N with chaos as he plots against the other cast members and tries to eat and sleep in comfort—a far cry from his serious disposition when producing his raps and songs! In fact, his love for music is the main reason why he now hosts SBS’ radio show, Music High (2020 – present). Currently, DINDIN continues to appear as a main cast member for 2D1N and has also appeared (as a main cast) in various programs such as Backpacker Chef (2022), Edge of Friendzone (2022), and DNA Mate (2022)

Following the release of his five singles last year, DINDIN has yet again proven his lyrical chops by producing two new singles: Should Not Love You" (널 사랑하면 안돼) Part.2 and Like the Day It Rained (비 내리던 그날처럼).
