Cho Yi-hyun (조이현)

2022 was a big year for k-drama actress Cho Yi-hyun. She earned seven Best New Actress nominations for various dramas and won two of them. The future indeed looks bright for this twenty-three-year-old who was born in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Cho debuted in 2017 in Witch at Court and appeared as cameos and smaller roles in The Guest, Bad Papa and Less that Evil the following year.

In both seasons of Hospital Playlist (2020-21), she found her way into the hearts of audiences by playing the young and impressionable resident who lost her mother at a young age. She also joined an episode of the variety show Mountain Village Playlist (alt. title Three Meals a Day: Doctors) along with the other actors on the show.

She next starred in School 2021 where she plays an intelligent high schooler who defies convention by wanting to be a carpenter.

Her biggest role to date is as class president in the Netflix hit All of Us Are Dead (2022) where she is set to reprise her role.
